About this calculator

Part-paying a bike loan early saves interest. Floating-rate loans to individuals have no prepayment charge, but many private-bank bike loans are fixed-rate — Axis Bank does not allow part-prepayment at all and charges 5% on foreclosure. Check your KFS before paying.

Frequently asked questions

Is it worth prepaying a small bike loan?

If there is no charge and you have spare cash after emergency savings, yes — especially at rates of 12% or more. With a 5% charge, closing late in the tenure may save little.

For information and comparison only. Loan terms, rates and rules change — confirm with the lender and read the Key Facts Statement before borrowing.
