How it works
Value = net weight (capped at 10 kg for jewellery, 500 g for coins) × fine rate × purity. RBI LTV slabs from 1 April 2026: 85% up to ₹2.5 lakh, 80% for ₹2.5–5 lakh, 75% above ₹5 lakh. Lenders value silver at the lower of the 30-day average or previous-day closing price.
